Model Public School, Koickal Jn, Pallickal P O, Kattanam, Kayamkulam was established in the year 2003 in memorial of Late Scientist K P Jones,(Scientist,NPOL, DRDO, India) who had a vision to setup school in his native village which would impart all round development in the formation of bright & bold students to develop and lead  future India. Academics is one among the multifaceted curriculum, which include sports, games, martial arts, gymnastics, wrestling, social service, SUPW, arts & painting, dance, music  and  personality development.

Model Public School   is a Christian Minority Educational Institution owned and managed by Scientist K P Jones Memorial Educational and Charitable Trust, Pallickal,Kerala,  a registered trust, under the Indian Trust Act 1882. The inception and fostering of Model Public School was the result of consistent effort and enthusiasm of Mr. K P Jones (Jr), the founder & General Manager of the school.

The eminent members of the Governing Council have very rich experience in imparting quality education to generations. They are eminent academicians, engineers, doctors and politicians, who insist on the importance of Intelligence Quotient, Emotional Quotient, Persistence Quotient, Adversity Quotient, Ebullient Quotient, Spiritual Quotient and Multiple Intelligence.  

Our School provides boarding, day boarding and canteen facility, along with various club activities for day scholars & boarders ample opportunity for self-development which makes every pupil a successful learner who is determined, productive, confident, perfect with integrity & self-respect, under the watchful eyes of our nun sisters.
